I had to soak it vinegar to see it,and I am glad that I did.So now I have a big chopper soaking as well.

I have this soaking as well.

My first flint hammerstone.

Sorry yes it does.They have a thick layer of minerals them.The clean one looked like the chopper on one side,all covered up....Over nite in the vinegar,and boom....supr clean.

Love that chopper What kind of mineral deposits are those? I've not seen anything like that before. Is it something that happen in your area alot?
