Any public areas in the Yorktown area frequented by detectors? Is the river considered part of the park?
Thanks for any info or stories you may have.

Not for sure about hunting along River . I asked shop owners and they didn't seem to know . I asked at courthouse and they said hunting along River was not allowed . But I did see two hunters swinging on the beach on a hot summer day . That being said I don't want to chance getting fined or going before the judge until I see in writing .
