Brinks half box #99: skunk shorted $0.25 which doesn't make any sense but the guy behind me gave me a quarter (which I failed to check whether it was silver or not).

Doing a few days of CWR hunting. Hoping for some good stuff.

I hit a few banks. $140, $90, $240, and $60 cwr halves plus $21.50 loose.

$530 cwr halves: 1-40%
$21.50 loose halves: 1-64

Better than nothing but I sure was hoping for more. I'll hit another side of town tomorrow.

Keep on rolling!

Life always looks brighter when you get a walker. I rarely count my coins, so I don't really know if I ever get shorted.

Hey Slug...yeah getting a walker is always nice.

I have two dumping banks. 1). They take a bag of $500 and give me cash or mediate credit to my account. So, I am very careful not to short them because I don't want to lose this nice setup. 2). My other bank has a super fast counter and I just notice when the count is off from what was expected.

I hope i find some walkers tomorrow. I'm out of town with family.

$200 cwr halves: skunk
$11 loose halves: skunk

Oh well...I'll try again tomorrow.

Another skunky day. I ran into two CRH dumps. I took them anyway hoping the tellers will be willing to hand over a silver dump whenever it happens.

$590 cwr halves: skunk

$80 cwr halves: 1-40%
$12.50 loose halves: skunk

Tried another area and ran into a bunch of dumps:

$590 CWR halves: skunked and shorted $11.50 (the theif intentionally shorted all 23 rolls)

One more try before heading home...but ended with nothing.

$130 cwr halves: skunk
33 loose halves: skunk

Brinks half box #100: skunk but at least I wasn't shorted

Also, I found my first no fg 1980. It's the bottom one in the picture. The top one is a regular 1980.

Anyway, I was surprised to see one since I mainly edge check.

Keep on rolling.

I knew there was a 1982 no FG and a 1989--but didn't know there was a 1980 no FG. I've become very lazy--have only been checking rims for silver, and I check some coins that have sharp rims--I find proofs that way, but stopped checking faces of coins long ago. I'm probably missing good stuff.

I'm a rim guy as well, but occaissionally I glance for the no fg's or a clad proof.

I think my find is called a grease error. Not sure of the details of how it happens. I don't think it's worth much, but it's fun to find something different between the skunks.

Brinks half box #102: 1-1945 Walker, 1-40%

We found a nice Walker that was in good shape. It's nice to find silver again.

Brinks half box #103: 4-64s, 5-40%, lots of NIFC's

Hit a nice box with 9 silver keepers. The amazing part was that a single MWR had 7-silvers in it: 3-1964s, 3-1968s, and 1-1966 all right next to each other. I wish the rest of the box was that dense in silver, but two other keepers in loan rolls.

Also, one of the 1964s had a mirror surface. Did they make proof 1964s with no mint mark?

I was really happy with the 9 keepers. It helps me to Keep On Rolling!

Did some bank hopping...found just $5.50 loose and $40 CWR all skunks, but then a guy depositing money from a farm/tractor store next door to one of the banks said he had a few halves back at the store. So, I went by and he had a 1977 and a 1968. Finally I picked up a box of dimes at my last bank stop.

March totals: 8 silver keepers...ouch...well at least April has started off with a bang and looks like lots of people are hitting silver lately. So, perhaps April will be a stand out month. Gotta keep on unrolling!
