These digs are from Saturday. I dug the axe head or hatchet head early in the hunt, it was down about 10inches. I believe it is hand forged, but don't know that age so if anyone knows it would be cool to hear. I then dug the latch and the spoon about 45 minutes after I dug the axe head. I said to myself it looks like an iron kind of day. About a half hour after that I dug what is left of a flat button, kind of funny but that one still has a stand up shank
. About 20 minutes after that I dug another tombac button. It was getting late into the hunt and I had to get going, but I got one more signal that wasn't that great although it sounded good enough to dig. Down about 6 inches the 1775 Half Real came to light. I could tell when I dug it that it would have pretty good detail. So another good hunt in the books. Thanks for looking and reading.
