1 hour hunt today

The fields where I usually hunt at arent plowed yet so I went to a coworkers home and we did a quick hunt. The sun was going down and he lived in the middle of no where. I got lost on my way home but at least it was light when I got home. Got a variety of things. Found quite a few performs.

Looks like some nice material.. I see a Morrow Mountian and what looks like a core of some nice blue Flint.. some reduction debris and that black and gold flake looks like Zink with a iron pyrite(fools gold) vein.
Enough water on your pieces? LOL.
Just messin.

Left to right.
1st pic is a flake made into a small knife, unifacial
2nd I believe is a Pickwick or a snapped based Kirk, base insnt broken
3rd is a red Jasper Core.
4th 2 blue scrapers
5th base to a knife, heart breaker

6th snapped base scraper
7th round scraper or preform
8th round tool or core with a Graver Tip
9th Preform knife
Last the 2 best together.

Nice stuff Rock! You also found a hunting partner. That alone is nice. It's much safer to have someone with you out there. Looks like he put you on good grounds.

I will post a few Morrow Mountain points rock.. a Pickwick is a medeium to large blade and that isn't a quartz Kirk.
You also said it wasn't broken.....so..it can't be a snapped base now can it.
I only tried to help you out..sorry.

Sometimes the base on Morrow Mountain points are very crude.

Well it might be a MM cause they are around here like Garys in Tx. I looked on a site and it looked like a Pickwick they had posted by the ears. I see there is many types of MMs out there. I cant say for sure. I do know a scraper when I see one though, lol
