All Treasure Hunting
Well.. this was a surprise.
I almost never hunt for recent drops in dry sand.
Conditions have been poor for finding old items on the beach here on the Treasure Coast so I gave it a shot early this morning after a warm sunny weekend.
It sure takes patients scooping up junk..and more junk...and..
10k the CAL had me confused at first but it appears to be a company name "California Links"
I also found a ring down closer to the water.

Here is a nice ring "to me" I found.

Hip design, looks like it's been lonely a long time. I was able to find and return one this year. $4k bridal set. For sure a cool aspect of the hobby. If it's high end I will do what I can to return it. Just sits in my jar otherwise. If I didn't get beat up by the surf so much I think I would spend more time a bit deeper, haven't found my knack with these waves. But I am still a new fella to the swing of things. In time.

Lucky! You got the golden glove award for today! Oh wait, that's baseball. lol

Nice Boxing gloves! I used to train to be a amateur fighter, sparred 11 times, those were fun!

That ring with the musket ball is 18th century.
The knack on the beach for old items....is NOT how deep you find them it's being in the right place when mother nature removed the overburden.
When conditions are right you hardly dig.

My 20 cents is it is not an arrowhead. Also I'm sure you've heard the isolated finds law was repealed several years bac so you may want to be careful and ask in a private message ;) hate that law soooo much. Hoping to get the repeal repealed at the next meeting of Florida session or congress meeting or whatever it's called.

Here are a couple local triangle arrow points for comparison.

Now that is a cool, unique find!

Thanks... my legs and back are feeling it this morning.
I sure did clean alot of junk off that area.
Still... for not normally hunting recent drops it makes me want to go again.
