Very nice . Are you the one selling it ? What is the present bid ? Would like to have it . Is there any
way someone in the US could bid on it ? Through a surrogate maybe ?

yes hillbilly you can bid on it, just go to ebay.ca , i will ship to the great USA

Dang! What is that thing? Looks like a broken bowling ball. Just call me ignorant. Monty

Ancient mollusk (closely related to our nautilus).

In the right conditions the shell is replaced with a gem quality mineral matrix as it fossilizes.

That's called "ammolite" and has been recognized as a gemstone by . . . whoever it is that recognizes what gems officially are.

Oh, OK, I can see it now. It looked like something round and black. I even thought it might be a cannon ball! :-[ Very interesting now that I know what it is. Monty
