$1100.00 in Dimes 12/17/09

Picked up $1100.00 in dimes today and got the following

1x 80% Canadian
3x Mercs
12x Rosies

I would have a huge headache and have to sleep for 12 hours after going through 11,000 dimes. Glad you enjoy it.

Hey Rich - glad you scored. That is a lot of dimes. I love getting mercury dimes. I read on another forum about a guy the got an AU 55 1916d. Got it with a bunch of teen dimes.

I bought a bunch of junk silver dimes a few years ago when silver was cheap. Mixed Rosies and Mercs. One happened to be a 1916d. Just average quality. I rolled the dimes up and kept the 1916d in a roll of teens and 20's.
I'm not a real coin collector. I don't normally look up dates and all that.
Anyway last October I sold all my dimes and like a dope included the roll with the 1916d.
Easy come, easy go.
