Hello my friends !!
Yesterday I could go hunting to a stubble field , and I was lucky to find a 17th century cut thimble , and a coin of King Felipe IV .... not my best huntings , but not bad for just 30 minutes.

I've found many 14th C topless thimbles, thats roughly when they started.

Nice finds. I have a few of those types of thimbles, they were used by a seamstress. Open top to allow air so the finger would not sweat, the thimble could fall off easy when sweaty. HH, Mike
