Hey everyone I need your help. I live on the treasure coast in FL and checking out the beach today I found this interesting object. It's not a shell and honestly I have no idea what it could be but maybe emralds? Could this be from the 1715 spanish fleet that sank here ? Any ideas?!?! 20210621_153548.webp20210621_153534.webp

Green stones all clumped together in some kind of clay

doesn't match anything like the pictures of the raw emeralds recovered from the shipwreck scatter unless all the pics online are just pics of the better stuff recovered. I don't really know what it is, but I suppose it could be emerald bearing

They certainly glow green under some light bu20210621_144101.webp

Yeah, I'd have those guys looked at by someone knowledgeable enough about gemstones.
You might have real treasure...!
Welcome to Treasure Net!

welcome to Treasurenet nice find

Can you hold it up to a light and take a pic?

Very interesting. I’d have that looked at. Post it in the sites shipwreck section

Good find. There were a lot of things on those ships that nobody knew about!!

Have you guys ever seen anything like that before?

Looks more like jade to me , but I'm not a gemologist .

Does it look to you like multiple stones stuck together or just one strange natural looking rock?
