I always vote Banner when I see something I'd see as something I would never expect.

I don't vote Banner very often, maybe once a month or more. Consider my vote in after I finish my response.
 

Very cool, interesting and unique coin. Never seen one. I figured this was going to be found in Europe. I have no idea about the rarity of this coin but I think the cool factor of the coin and place found (NY) should give this some consideration for banner. Well done!
