1744 king george II and a large cent

Got out to a site I haven't been to since early spring. Few buttons and a buckle. A large cent and my oldest coin I thinks it's a 1744 king George II.

Congrats on the Awesome finds!!! The KG2 looks like it was engraved on the obverse.

Interesting marks on the Copper, are they stamped or graven?
Is the buckle cast? I have one of similar design, it is sheet with a rolled crossbar.

I'm not sure whats going on with the KG. the buckle is brass. I found a bigger one a few weeks ago at a different site. Thanks for the comments.
