1787 Massachusetts Cent

Found in a tilled garden area that was used for an encampment at the turn of the 20th century. Sitting just under the surface waiting to be plucked. One of my best finds, wish it had more detail.

Nothing like finding state coppers. There are plenty of older George II coins out there, but I'd rather find a state copper any day. I picked up a couple of NJ's and CT's this year, but still looking for my first Mass copper. Nice find. Way to go!
