1798 Large Cent and flat buttons up the wazoo LOTS OF PICS

Today was the first serious hunt of the season for me and it was a good one.
I have been waiting for a spot to thaw so I could start hunting. I am hitting the same field that gave me a G.W. Button last fall.
Today I found a spot where ALL of these keepers came from. The spot is only about 20' arround and I am guessing that there is more to be found. Some of the buttons were about 8" down, The 1798 Large Cent was only 4".

Right now I use an ACE 250 and today, the 9+12 coil. Glad I did........

Not much of a story teller so I will shut up and show off my loot

Cool , great looking Draped Bust Cent! 8) The pics of your hunting ground are nice too, makes me miss home, which is Salem, NY area. Just a hop skip and a jump to Vermont.....beautiful country.

Thanx for all the comments In a few days I will be ordering a Minelab 705. Lets see what will come out of the ground with the new machine.

Once the grass really starts to grow I have to stop hunting. After first cut I will have a small window to hunt and then stop again untill after second cut. I have a few other spots lined up to hunt but I dont think that they will produce the good stuff as well as this spot has.

I was just going to say ,that is some great finds ,the ace 250 must work pretty good for the money..I think you will like a minelab once you learn it, takes a while. Large cents rock,i never see any in my area
