I was treated to a brand new permission, a dilapidated 1860 church in northeastern Missouri about 50 miles from my house.
I only had a couple hours and it started out rainy but cleared up.
Dug a silver plated 1920's 'Kiss Proof' compact, a brass or copper lid, a chunk of Ball canning jar lid, an old lock, (my first) and other junk.
Definitely virgin ground and I will be going back. I thought the compact was a pocketwatch at first
