1877 Carson City seated live dig, 8-point antler find & buckle and a what's it?

I got out to the area I visited yesterday. It's such a distance I only got 1-1/2 hours on the ground. But I dug a few keepers and a bucket lister. A Carson City mintmark has always eluded me. Granted living in New Jersey doesn't help my cause but I've dug over 400 silver coins and none have been CC's.

Anyway also scored a beautiful antler just sitting there on the ground. That was a first. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1457631628.009183.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1457631641.484129.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1457631652.288998.jpg

Also does anyone know what this is?ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1457631687.988813.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1457631703.579709.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1457631663.242209.jpg

And a rarity, the live dig seated. If you don't like curses I suggest you don't watch it.

Awesome job..
Hey thanks man
Nice coin! Looking forward to meeting you when I come up with Carolina Tom and Smittyman next month.
Absolutely a hunt with Smittyman and Tom is always fun. It'll be great to meet you as well.
That's a great coin! Antlers are nice too! Found a nice half set myself in Arizona years ago.
I've never found antlers so this was cool. Any idea to tell how long they were laying there? Thanks for looking
Man that's a great find. What's better than finding a seated dime? A Carson City seated dime!!
Thanks, a CC is special. I read all about Carson City and what a cool history.
I haven't found any seated so, so I'd be happy as can be without a CC:tongue3:
You said that about the OD nickel so...

OD seated?

Lol. Thanks Dave

Beautiful dime Scrappy.

Nice live dig Scrappy, dug the same 1877 seated without a mint mark. Looks like yours was dropped yesterday
Oh man, it was in good shape. No doubt. Thanks for looking
I second that comment! [emoji2]
Lol.
Dang Steve you certainly had to work for that seated. That's one nice looking coin. I hope to find a CC or O mint mark sometime in my future.
It was brutal. Actually that hole was one of the easier holes. Next comes dynamite!
Gotta love seated silver! Good job Scrap. Keep up the good work.
Thanks brother. It feels good to be back out after being cooped up

It looked like mine was cut that way but upon closer look it may have if fact been worn down. Great info, thx

You get many many ugly ones in between the good ones but it's all worth it when you get a nice specimen. Cheers and good digs
Sorry, not real. I have the exact same coin in my coin collection, or at least, I did...

Bwahaha j/k GREAT LIVE DIG!!! Still looking for my first CC.
Whoa! Too soon buddy!!! Lol, just joking;)
Anytime you dig a seated is great but getting a cc is awesome, congrats

I've been showing non coin enthusiasts (friends and family) and they just don't seem as excited as all of us. Thank goodness for this forum and thx for looking

Great cc Scraps. Definitely a sought after mint mark. Hope it's the first of many

It's great how you take the time to reply to anyone you can who posted to you. I would do it more also but my wife complains enough already that I'm on here to much! Haha

Ha, my wife is looking at me right now. Judging...ever judging. Lol

I enjoy responding to everyone's comments. This hobby is a very important part of my life and I appreciate everything that goes along with it. AND TNET MEMBERS RULE!!!

Ya know, after watching you dig, I sort of felt sorry for that poor lil dime. ;) Vicious! :)

Congrats on the CC!

It was 78 degrees that day!!!! Last year it was probably 15 degrees and the frost was down 10"!
Great cc Scraps. Definitely a sought after mint mark. Hope it's the first of many

Thanks Abe. Any CC mintmark was on my bucket list. Cheers and good luck out there

You should have felt bad for me?! Did you see what I had to do to dig that ground?!?! L
Nice! That must have been a heart stopper! :treasurechest::thumbsup:
The seated never, ever gets old for me as you saw in my reaction. I've dug plenty but I feel like a kid on Christmas every time.
Congrats on the CC!
