1900 Penny

Hello, folks. I am new to the hobby, but I found this 1900 penny today. Does anyone know the history/significance of this one? Is it valuable? So far I have only spit on it and wiped it off and put it in water and wiped it off. Is there a better way to clean it?

I was with him when he found it . He found a 1900 indian and I found a wheatie . How did that happen ,LOL I always am glad to see someone do well,especially on there first time out. WTG Jeff! Hope we can find some more on the next hunt.

great find! Nice detail on the coin! I have found 1899's and 1901's but never a 1900 coin!
