Got out for the first time this year and dug a Zippo lighter. I tried find a date for it and it might be 1950’s? Maybe maybe an expert can help me out with its age.

I’m also curious about sending it in to be repaired. I know I’ve read about members doing that before. Just curious what to expect, what they will and won’t do.

Thanks for looking!

I used to shoot a lot of muzzleloaders, liked my .54 rifle and pistol. I drilled a quarter inch hole in the top of a .54 minie and would shove a .22 blank in the hole rim out. Could aim at a rock 200 yards away and the puff of smoke from the blank would tell me if I hit it. The flint trick sounds pretty cool.
That,s a cool trick too! You might have a little squirrel in you too!:laughing7:
