1968 Canadian dime

I found this in a roll today. Question I know some 1968 Canadians are 50% silver others are nickel/steel junk metal. Since I dont have a scale how do I tell if its a keeper or junk?

Grab a magnet, if its steel it will stick.

Bounce it off a hard surface like a counter top. If it's a dud, you will hear a thud.
Usually, you can tell just by the coin's appearance ( if you've looked at a few hundred canadians.)
