1st Silver Coin !

[TheYAK]

Its about time! This area has had so much construction in the last 30yrs its hard to find old coins. At a new park, pretty well picked over.Went to the upper field and with in 3 min got a VDI 94-95 at 2 inches (50c id) Figured it was garbage but dug.

Its bent from a dozer blade hit, but its silver and sweet: 1922 LH Silver Dollar

[BuckleBoy]

That's one HECK of a first silver coin, my friend! Even with the dozer hit, she's a beauty.

Congratulations to you, and I wish you many, many more.

Regards,

Buckleboy

It did take a few seconds to sink in as I was brushing off the dirt. Silver really shines even after years in the dirt.

That's the great thing about gold & silver. It looks beautiful freshly dig. I still haven't found a silver dollar or a half.
Very sweet find!
