Swung the Super 12 coil on my MXT today from 10am until 4pm. Hunted today with my buddy John, he made some nice finds today. Hope everyone enjoyed the day, the weather was very nice, a little windy but warm. I like the Super 12 coil, it has performed very well for me and i made some nice deep finds today as well :)

Great Photos and Great finds buddy! Glad you were out..... You are going to have to build on an extra room at your house just to keep all your stuff..

You can call it the: TSGMAN Detector Finds Museum or something.. Maybe we can get you on the National Registry!

See ya bud

Very nice finds, WTG!!!
Dig that little pendant piece, Neat...
Also, if those are .58 caliber bullets" lined up along the back, what in the world is the diameter of that bullet on the end?
Continued Good luck, & Happy hunting~

WOW!!! What a great variety of bullets you found. Very cool. A carved bullet can't be too common I'm sure.
Congrats to you.
What is a bale seal? Are these old? I've found some before, but thought they were lead seals off of a meter box.
Thanks,
MM

CONGRATS on some nice lead & relics ,what is the coin looking find?

Randall

Randal, the coin is a Shield Nickel, i cannot see the date but we have found several of those in this camp. I have one decent shape dated 1865. So far i have dug a 1856 half dime, a 1912 Barber dime, a couple V Nickel's, two Franklin Halve's and a couple Walking Liberty's. My Buddy John has dug a 3 cent silver, a 1807 { The 7 was stamped over the 6} Flowing hair large cent, a couple of Barber quarter's a seated dime 1841, and he also has dug a few Shield and V Nickels.

Leon, that's a 69 caliber bullet. fairly common find here in Sothwest Missouri, used more in the early part of the Civil War. If you got hit by one of those you would notice it, lol.

Thanks Civilman, Our ground here in SW Mo. is very good, not much mineralization. I was told by someone in Virginia that with the hot soil there it is not as effective? Not sure if this is true or not but i will find. I am going to the Diggin In Virginia.

Super Finds! The brass piece with D M & Co on it is the cover for a padlock that protected the key cylinder from the elements. These are period. I found one on the front of a lock near the Hartsville Tennessee Battlefield about 10 years ago. Continued luck yo you!
