Last week the Museum my wife works for held an archaeology camp for kids ages 10 and up which lasted two days. The Curator of the Museum buried items to be found by the kids. Items that were buried were bottles, nails, bricks, pottery shards and coins. The coins I donated for the camp. After the camp ended, I got permission to go the dig site and retreive the coins that were not found by the kids. I found this knife with a wheat penny lodged between the blades. I asked the Curator if this was an item he buried. He said "No". This is probably the most unique item I have found. By the way, the dig site was located by the Museum which once was a high school. P.S. I found six of the coins that I lent.

thats odd but cool

That is pretty cool. Who, with a knife,
hasn't had that happen?!!!

LOL That is COOL!!!!! :tongue3:

I once seen a knife with about three or four Spanish 1/4 reales stuck in it. I think the dates were all from the 1830's. The person who found it was hunting gold in Nevada near some very old workings. Very cool find indeed.

Cool beans! What's the chance in the coin staying lodged in the knife after it hit the ground when they lost it. I would say pretty slim.
