2 Nice Buckles & Buttons!
I had a pretty good weekend! First on Saturday I went with Rob & Dickie back to an old saw mill site we hunted last year. It has some old home sites on it. I found 2 nice buckles there and Rob found one also. I also found a little brass lock, an 1882 I.H. penny & a copper pin that looks like the flatten pennies you get some places you go. But it did have a pin on the back.

The back of the square buckle says "Colonial" on it.

Then on Sunday I went with another buddy back to the old home site where I found the nice war of 1812 button last week.
There I found another interesting button with a Badge & ancor on the front. And it is marked "U States Revenue Service" on the back.
I also found a 2nd artillary button from the war of 1812! Plus more flat buttons, a big brass tag with the #13 on both sides and I think says "Franklin Seruy Co" on it, a smashed up ring and a mystery item.

If anyone can tell me anything about the Badge button, please let me know!
Thanks again to my Buddy Rob for his help with these pictures & this post.
