20 minutes at a local park

[btrainrolls]

Well today I talked my wife and kids into going to one of the parks in the area. After playing with the kids I brought out my Ace 350 to test out the replacement coil. I found some clad in 20 mins all in the same little area ( not the same hole) and scored my first wheatie 1958 D. Here are the finds if a short hunt.

Your first wheatie is in very nice condition! Andi

Thank you. Yeah it's in pretty good shape. I'll clean it up soon when I have some free time.

Nice finding old coins and the clad is a bonus! I love parks and got lots of clad from them, but other goodies too!

Very cool!

Hey.....I mostly hunt tot lots! I have found the most ridiculous things there. Don't ever snub them.....just hunt several different ones and go to the most popular ones. You will be shocked one day on what you will find! My avatar pic.....found that coin under a tire swing last year! Sold it for 100.00 bucks! Good luck!

Oh I'm definitely not snubbing them. They are actually my favorite spots to hunt, unless I tear out some sidewalk or road in the old part of town for my company then I'll be there. I can't wait to find some good scores.
