2012 Gold Round up!

Here is most of the gold I found on my weekend trips. I still have a bucket of concentrates to go through... maybe get the total up to three grams. Maybe not as much gold as I would like, but I had a great time finding it! Most trips my 7 and 9 year old went with me. One trip had the other half and parents go out looking for that gold!!!

Was a pleasure sluicing with you all this past year!! Met some of the nicest people on Tnet and had some good times teaching and learning from others. 2cmorau, Dagreat, Pvillehunter and Caminochaos have been very generous in inviting me out to their claims on trips, and even to an old 1850s mining cabin..good times. Here's to many more good prospectin socializin and gold gettin trips to come in 2013.

Almost three grams--that's a little treasure for sure. Spending all that time with your kids while playing in the dirt to get the gold--that's priceless!

Love the pics! I had not seen the North Yuba pic before. I had to zoom in to find Maddy in there! Looks like a baby big foot coming at us from the brush!!!

Good times for sure was a great trip into the mountains, prospecting, camping and claim jumping 2cmorau..lol, cant wait to go back out and explore some more areas.
