2012 in Review - what a year!

2012 was a great year! A mild winter allowed me to get our more, and some new sites helped me have a great year for early silver. I dug a fair number of coppers, but they were all toast for the most part. Here are my coin totals for the year.

One Real cut from 8 Reale - 1

King George II coppers - 4

Draped Bust Large Cent - 4
Connecticut Coppers - 1
Unidentified Coppers -10
Hard Times tokens - 1

I am going to post pictures from 15 of the 24 hunts I documented in 2012.. The pictures are in chronlogical order starting on 2/5/12 and ending on 12/15/12. (I guess the pictures did't quite show up in the order I intended but they're close)

Steve, what a year, if only more could be like that. Sure got a lot of silver in 2012, like the points, coppers. Hard to say what your best find was, but getting another Draped bust silver was golden.

Thanks Don, I am pretty happy with the silver. If there is anything to be disappointed about, it would be the condition of the coppers I dug this year.
