I found the same exact broach last year but mine had a picture of a girl or a baby in it. Might have been a keepsake item to someone at some point. We were hunting around University of Washington Student housing, which was built in the early 1900's.

I think that Detectingfreak has it with, "Might have been a keepsake item to someone at some point."
Can you possibly post a clearer picture of it? :icon_scratch:
Also of the reverse if possible.

Thanks,
Dave

I hear what you're saying. I just thought that if I could get a clearer picture of the face, then I could more accurately date it for you.

I know what you are saying Van. I got out for 30 minutes at lunch and could barely get the trowell through the soil. Still found a dozen coins.

It's great to get out, even if a bit chilly
