Spent 3 Hours in a 20' X 20' Area trying to clean it out.

a Chrome Ring ? only marking is a 9 for size

8 Wheat Cents

Still didn't clean it out though

there are allot of Pop bottle Caps & Foil.
Probably drives everyone out.

Yes your right it dose make some of us nut's i find myself not wanting to dig areas like that because i don't have the time..But maybe we should re-look the situation.Nice haul Jeff and hope you get to clean the place right out..

Normally I search trash spots for a little & then wonder
around, then come back. this gives me breaks.
But since this place has given me silver for many years
& I'm still finding spots that were never hit, I forced myself
to work real super slow & stay in this corner area.
Because I had my 15" WOT on, I was overlapping signals
& almost everything needed to be circled several times
to get a pinpoint. especially when I switched to all metal.
In Disc alot of it nulled & just gave a sharp, high tone blip.
In some cases I couldn't pinpoint & just dug, then put my probe in
till I located a direction to dig. there may have been a
stand or ticket booth there in the past.
I was pulling multiple Drops on several occasions here.

Better double check the wheat cent thats too bad to date. It could be a 1909 S VDB, a 1914 D, a 1922 no D, or a 1931 S. You never know.

Nice digs Jeff I just didn't have the patience to hunt trasy small sites until I bought the 4 inch coil for my Titan XD, it felt awkward at first (like nothing was a t the end of the stem,) but it really works. As they say "dont fear the trash , if you want to find the cash"

One more thing if I may ask; what settings are you using on your scanner to get such clear pics. ?Maybe I could do better scanning my coin finds than picturing them, I have a HP photo Smart fax scanner printer

I have LexMark X2470m All in one ( Copier, Printer, Scanner, Fax)
cost $50.00 at Wallmart.

No Particular settings, I just ran the CD through & that's it.

I do Tweak the pics with MICROSOFT PHOTO EDITOR
but that's it.
