All that lead and no gold?.........or platinum? Certainly it must be hiding there somewheres.

Dang Max that is a lot of lead you've had to dig up. I'd rather have been on the boat with a hot coffee on that grey day. :coffee2:

I'm trying to picture you wading back to shore with all that lead in your keeper. Sort of puts a whole new twist on, "Get the lead out of you a*s!" :laughing7:

Man, can you save up all that lead you find and sell it bulk or to a second-hand fishing store? That stuff, as annoying as it may be to find and have to carry around, can't be cheap, is it?

That has got to be at least $10 in lead........ Better than a bag full of bobby pins and bottle caps :o Are you sure people swim there?? Seems like a risky place to swim with everyone throwing lead at you when you are in the water....

I've watched surfers, surf fishermen, and jet skiers all using the same small section of beach. And all of this going on in what is probably the riskiest section of beach in one of shark bite capitals of the world. (Ponce Inlet, New Smyrna Beach, Florida.) It's nuts! :laughing7:

Man I am a fisherman and finding sinkers makes me smile too. I hate paying the prices for them. You are also helping the environment by pulling them out. Hope your next signal has some gold to it. Take care.

Your Friend,

Steve in Michigan

That has got to be the single largest collection of weights I've ever seen dug in one outing. Incredible!
