$300 Nickels $25 Pennies $100 in halves TODAYS TOTALS

I went all out today and bought a large volume of rolls. It all started during a McDonalds Breakfast, when my dad and I decided we would do some CRHing since he just got paid. Well I had $100 in nickels in the car I planned to dump, and we stopped at a bank I've never been to before dumped, and the teller happened to ask if I wanted more Nickels. I said if you have them sure. She said she ordered too many boxes so she had alot on hand. She handed me a box and I walked out. We were on our way into another town so I went through them in the car. Was able to search the entire box in about half an hour. We got to another town, and happened to be by a problem bank i've had. So we decided to dump there. After dumping, for some odd reason, I was able to buy a box of nickels, and threw in another $25 to get a box of pennies. My dad had an errand to run that would take like an hour, so I stopped by a friends in the town, and we went through them (nickels and pennies). When he came back, we left and stopped by another bank and dumped, went to another bank and picked up $100 in nickels. I went through those when I got home, and went and dumped again at my local dump bank, then went to my pickup bank and got $100 in halves. After going through the halves I dumped them, and decided it was good for the day

nice war nickels.

your penny with the bubble is heat damage, throw some in a fire and you'll get bubbles

also 2001 halves are intended for circulation, its the 2002 to present that are NIFC. I keep about 10 per year per mint mark and throw the rest back, each mintage still has several million, so in the "recent" scheme they are not rare. But then again people say certain mintages 100 years old with 2.4M minted are "rare" .....so who knows....?? Keep what you want as long as you have the funds.

Keep finding those buffs and wars. Lets work on bringing the collector marker farther up for the older jeffersons. V nickels are my favorite because with the few UNC. V Nickels I have are beautiful.

The nickel plate is probably the zinc from inside the cent. However, I can't be sure until I see a pic.
