Perhaps tell us about this item? I'll even read about the quarter if it is interesting enough.

You tell me ? I'm trying to find out I'm pretty sure it's old. Possibly an archaic scraper ... I've seen some very similar called heeled spur scrapers I think of spur scrapers

The quarter is for size reference

I found it at that overhang its I'm a different thread but there are pictures And more pics of other flint I found in there plz have a look I need any info I can get on them

I know that. I was kidding with you. Your find looks like it is just a rock to me. Perhaps someone else will have a different opinion. Good luck and HH.:icon_thumright:

It's been worked !! It's hard to tell but for sure has been flintknapped that's why I think it's so old bc it's not "pretty"

I wasn't kidding ... At best it's a piece of flint that may have been struck a few times but never finished into any kind of a tool.
No need to get upset if someone's opinion isn't what you wanted to hear. I could really start reaching and try to see that small indention as a spokeshave.

I don't care what you think you haven't seen it in person or even seen both sides it has been worked and it is an artifact

Then stop responding to me... you're in an open forum asking for opinions.

From the pictures it looks natural to me. It may have some work on it but it looks to be unfinished.

Plus we do not start titles with just a dot. If you wish to post clearer pictures and a title we will be happy to respond. Thanks Until then this thread is.:lock:

See no sign of any work by man, just a rock...
