4 more silvers with a 1/2 reale!

Over the weekend I found several pieces along a woods road including a sterling pendant. I returned there today and found 2 additional quarters. In the 3 days I probably dug 100 wheat pennies
Over several miles. On my return I passed an area where there was a large rock on the middle of the road. Coins would have shaken out here if anywhere. On the shrubs just after the rock was a mercury dime and about a foot away, what I believe is a 1780's 1/2 reale. Glad to beat my 1802 which I found on the first day detecting, as I set out to do!!

Not very close to anything, a couple of miles. I’ve spent many many hours detecting old farms with the stone wall borders, where I found my first reale, and came up empty, until yesterday. Thanks

You did good What made you decide to detect this spot ?

I stumbled upon a 1890-1905 7 coin spill with 4 barbers a few weeks back along a woods road and shifted my focus to old roads. It would be logical that there would be coins along such roads if any carriages were ripping through there.
