CTX3030...AT Pro & Garrett Pro Pointer
Bounty Hunter 505 (Loaner)
We hit a old park today.
I got my 4 yr old son his 1st metal detector.
His very first find... He said dad I found something, so I checked with mine, sure enough reading at 85 on the AT Pro.
He dug it by himself and the expression and the excitement was awesome!!! Out pops a Corvette hot wheels.

You would have thought he found a gold coin lol

I found my first silver quarter. 1941
And a silver pendant

Thanks for looking

beautiful story and finds, good job dad

Awesome that matchbox car was like a silver coin to us I bet.

Nice pentacle pendant. Pentacles (pointed up) are a Wiccan, nature worship symbol.

Not to be confused with a pentagram (pointed down), which are Satanic symbols. I think if I ever found a pentagram I'd probably re-bury it. Wouldn't matter what the metal was.

great job by both of you

Thanks for the info! I was wondering what it was

Great story! Boy! Was I ever that small!?!? Look how big that quarter looks in his lil fingers!! LOL

Congrats to both of you! Many happy returns of the day!

Awesome! It took me a long time to find a silver quarter.

Congrats to you and your digging partner.HH.

Way to get them started early!!!

Congrats !!!! on getting your son started !!,and your quarter !!, and please give him congrats on his first find !!. This summer I took my 8 yr old nephew for his first time,he found a 1958 wheatie and a bunch of trash, but every piece was a treasure to him. It was definitly one of the funnest detecting trips I've ever had.

you both did well!! congrats on your day out with your son!

Congratulations on your finds and your sons. Ya can't beat time spent with your son. Just curious though, is it leagle to get your son hooked on this so early, it's for a lifetime you know. ( heehee )

That's awesome! My grandson is only 15 months old but I'm just waiting until he's big enough to hold a detector. I got my son in law a detector a while back and have my grandson one already. So I'm just counting months, maybe years but I'm ready. Great that you have your son involved. Awesome.

Most people let the T.V. or video games become their childs babysitter I commend you for spending quality time with your son and getting him started on a very fun hobby. His find was perfect first find probably better than money to him way to go Dad.:icon_thumright:

An awesome outing that we be forever remembered. Congratulations to the both of you! :icon_thumleft:
