43-S Merc dime ~ 56-D Rosie dime ~ War & buffalo nickel ~ 2 Indian Head cents
Hello Treasure hunting friends!
Today I met up with my buddies Wayne, Richard, and Ron to do some detecting up in Corvallis Oregon. We had a great time! Here's what I dug today:
1943-S Mercury Dime (almost uncirculated condition!)
1956-D Roosevelt dime
1944-S War nickel
N.D. Buffalo nickel
1942 Jefferson nickel (not War type)
1901 Indian Head cent
1907 Indian Head cent
14 wheat cents ~ 09, 11-S, 16-S, 19-S (x4), 20-S, 25-S, 26, 35-S, 42-D, 45-S, & 52-D
one clad quarter
12 clad dimes
1 modern nickel
28 memorial cents
one Chuck E. Cheese token 2002
7 of the 14 wheat cents were pre-1920! Too bad the 1909 isn't a 1909-S VDB ~ but I'm very happy with the semi-key date 1911-S!
The Merc & Rosie are my silver coins #4 & #5 for the year! Not a bad start for the year!
I took close-up pic's of the dates on the 1909 wheat cent, 1911-S wheat, and the two Indian Head cents. The 1901 is in my better condition than the 1907!
Thanks for looking!
Neil
