4th and 5th of July gold

I hunted a ball diamond on the 4th of July and dug a very small amount of clad, a football medallion and a 14K gold ring with 8 diamonds. I would have done a happy dance, but there was a bunch of people around and I did not want them to think that the heat had gotten to me. I didn't get to hunt as long as I wanted because of the heat which was soaring towards 100 degrees. Then on the 5th of July my wife and I hit a park where we had made some great finds in the past and this hunt would be no diffrent. My wife dug a women's 10K gold ring with 10 diamonds in it. My wife was pretty excited with her find and so was I. I did not fare as well as her and I only dug alittle clad and a necklace pendant. We made this hunt a short one as the heat was fast approaching 100 degrees and it wasn't even 11 am. All in all we had a great couple of days and a great time hunting together. HH Dennis in Idaho

Sweet rings! I'm still waiting to find diamonds, finding gold and silver but they seem to be lacking that twinkle that can only come from diamonds. Congrats, both of you.

Nice Rings!! This heat and humidity is sure cutting into the hunting time. Even in the evenings it is still hot. Way to go!
