5 Silver coins!!

Hello!

I found a small patch of grass nearest stairwell leading from the lower part of town do the upper part of town. It is a very narrow staircase. Looking at the County assessors map I can see the easement is as wide as any other street. So I started detecting it. Holy smokes, the first signal was a walking liberty half dollar.

I stayed as long as I could, a couple hours and ended up with five silver coins, one Indianhead cent, a bunch of wheat cents.
Also, there were several old tokens for the local bars. How funny
I can thank everyone here again, for giving me tips and tricks that led me to this incredible find.

I’ll be going back on my next day off.

Where’s there one easement, there are more.

This was 1 year ago, and in the last year I found 4 street easements between two towns that gave up great great silver coins.

I guess I’ll share a note about this particular “hotspot“

I brought two very skilled metal detector rest friends there, and one got a well-worn barber quarter, and the other one gleaned a buffalo nickel and a token or two
