50 coin day

[jlv956]

Went out today after yesterdays small gold find and had a 50 coin day. Nothing special today however, I did find a few 20 centavos coins from the early 60's . When I first dug them up I thought they were Half Dollars . I found them both in the same hole.

From the land of the Bluenose.....nice round figure and a good outing without over doing it. 50 coin day.....sort of has a ring to it...lol!

Happy hunting and may a ton of 50 coin days come your way.

Yeah, them fat Mexi coins are honkers, arent they?

AS my friend Les would day, "a good day is a 50 coin day!"
Now how about Bud and a few of his friends, eh?

Looks great to me Have you tried the old schools in Brownsville just off Palm Blvd? You would probably find some old coins there.

I'm from there originally but living in McAllen right now. Two years ago, I went coinshooting at the old Edinburg College (torn down some months ago) and found a bronze MX 1919 10 centavos piece. Almost had a heart attack when I looked down the hole I'll try posting it tomorrow.

Good Luck!
