Looks military, but with the U in the background it might be something to do with a university.

It measures about 1 1/4" in width.

There is writing on the reverse, but I can't make it out.

So it may be a type of Track and Field pin or award.

If it is a Track and Field pin, the AC could stand for Athletic Club and the wings could represent fleetness afoot.

How about tracing the letters to ID more of them.
The bottom line may be an address; like "25 Conxx St. N.E."
