Clad is OK (for spending) but I'm looking for silver coins or real cents, preferably pre Lincoln.

Because it's in the budget. We do have enough in circulation because pennies wind up in
your "penny place" and are never spent. I try my best to spend them but always wind
up with more.

It's in the budget because the politicians are in the pocket of mining companies who make a killing off of the minting of 7 billion cents a year. That's the main reason why we're still minting cents.
