A crappy day.

Just be honest, that's what it was. The high was 6 degrees, and it's minus 3 now. We're gettin snow, but not enough to really matter. The worst thing is we have wind which we never get, up to about 25 or 30mph. I still talked Maria into goin out and runnin around the countryside.

Oklahoma wasn't much better, RGINN! We had a high of 22 degrees and its supposed to get down in the single digits tonight. Its been a good day just to stay inside!

RGINN, nice pics. We are getting the bad storm that swept across the country from the West, Snow and high winds
gusting to 30-40. According to the news they were even higher during the night. Down in the Detroit area there are 13,000
homes without power and temp. in the teens.It's not daylight yet, am waiting to see what it looks like then.
I was reading your other post about your Thanksgiving at the store. Good for you. That was a great thing you
did. My hat is off to you. I know they appreciated it.

rain yesterday turned to sleet, then snow, with 50 mph+ winds. high supposed to be 21 today with on and off snow! i need a vacation!!!!!

When I complain about the cold my wife says " wheres that mountain man spirit''?
So I put on my sweat pants, sweat shirt, hooded sweatshirt, tobaggan, gloves, & went , & had to pace myself to not get
too warm.

Why of course she's happy to be there Tank69. You know how women are. They are truly thrilled when we get them out of the kitchen and involve them in our outdoor adventures. They are really glad to be included, right there in the action, just like one of the guys. She's happy. otoh, she's actually thinkin, "Dios Mio, why did I every encourage him to buy that camera and let him think he's some kind of pro photographer. I hope he get's what he imagines to be right within at least 50 shots this time. I thought I had already raised my kids, but apparently I have one more who will never grow up!" Well, she thinks somethin like that, but probably in Spanish. Bunch of mature thoughts like that. Maria does take a pretty picture though. I shall never grow up, either.
