Managed to get out 3 times since the last post with some decent results. Didn't find anything exceptional but managed to recover a few early coins and relics.
Was happy to get my third old silver for this year. An other Seated dime 1853 (all of my Seated dimes are from 1853 for some reason)

An other old silver was an unusual relic that I believe to be a cover from a snuff box or from an old compass (late 1700's to mid 1800's)
It features a cross on one side and a Windrose on the other (thus the early compass theory) It doesn't have a hallmark but is made of 6 gr. of sterling silver.

Here's an example of a Windrose on a late 1700's compass.

Got a few nice early coppers. Lower Canada One Penny and two Halfpennies 1837

Agriculture and Commerce 1835 Halfpenny

Upper Canada 1820 Halfpenny

Conder Halpenny token 1792 (Dublin)

In all 11 coins (not counting the toasted ones)

Found a few military and civilian buttons
Two War of 1812 70th Regiment of Foot buttons as well as one Sappers and Miners. Two artillery buttons from 1830's and a partial infantry badge from the same period.

Some great looking early civilian buttons

Lead lion head piece.

And a nice crotal bell with maker's mark.

Thanks for the comments.
