Lot's of renovation in the park (Memorial) and I hadn't been there in a few years. We'd hunted this place hard for a long time, as well as everyone else, but some dirt was moved around so why not. First hunt in a long time anyway...just getting my bearings. Nothing but a WWI button, but they're cool. The best places in this particular spot were inaccessible because the park felled trees, etc. to keep people out and there's no swinging to be had. Not sure what they're planning. Was good to get out; a member from way back, Blind.In.Texas, came along for the trip.

Thanks for posting and looks like that park needs a brush hog taken to it. Looks like too much work to detect.

Sweet! Congrats on getting out there when they turn up the soil for ya!
I know what you mean by being fenced out, they tore up the soil around our city hall a year ago. I had dreams of silver coins being found!.....no, they fenced it off and put "no trespassing" sign up! Darn it!!!
