A find of sorts..........

I found the owner of a privatly owned church & got permission to hunt.....I think that qualifies as a "Find".

Today I had to go to one of the properties north of me for work, so I decided to take some pics to post here for all of you. As you can see, the scenery is horrible, The place is overrun with vermin, and the traffic & smog is just too much for one to have to deal with, so you wouldn't want to move here........just kidding. I did find the owner of the church, and he gave me the OK to detect there alomg with the old houses around it. I did see the inside of it last summer when it was being restored, and it is beautiful to say the least. I hope you all enjoy the pictures of my normal day at work.

The owner rents it out for weddings & such. It was not in great shape when he bought it, but they did a beautiful job of restoring it.

I will try to get some shots of the inside.....it is beautiful. Cheryl, I am sure you know where this church is (pretty close to where we hunted) I just didn't want to post any details because I have had problems with people raiding my hunting sites after I posted them in here.....so I no longer include any details. How are you doing with youe Ace250?

Pictures of the inside would be great!! Oh, so I do have a good idea where this is (I'll be right there to help you out um.. not really). I am hoping to go back there this year but so far I haven't figured out when. Too bad about people raiding your hunting sites. It seems best not to give to many details, anyway. The pictures work well.

Once the ground dries out a bit I am hoping to detect my yard some more. Some would probably not let the mud deter them from detecting but I wouldn't know how to dig a hole in it. We have an old tree on one corner I am just itching to check out. It has a few roots on top of the ground, too.
