A fountain of silver from Old Faithful!

I got out for an evening hunt with my father at old faithful and in less than two hours I came home with 6 silver coins. This is my silver record for one day. There are 3 Mercury dimes, 2 Roosevelt dimes and 1 Standing Liberty quarter. This is also my first Standing Liberty with a readable date (1927).
I wonder what I could have gotten if I spent all day there!?

I am also posting my silver finds from my last trip to the same spot. I got 2 rings, a silver quarter, another silver dime and a piece of a broken necklace (I think).

There's silver at the end of that rainbow!!

Old Faithful never stops giving up the treasure. It's a huge area and has been in constant use since the late 1800's. There is more stuff in the ground there than I could ever dig in my lifetime......and very little trash. That's a pretty tough combo to beat. The thing that really surprises me is how few modern coins I dig. Maybe one coin out of ten dates from after the 70's and this place is still being used on a daily basis. I guess people don't lose money now like they used to. That's fine by me because I don't really care about the newer stuff.
