Looks alot like a turtle head with an odd shaped eyeball sticking out. Could almost be a snake, but not the right, triangular viper head & longer mouth shape.

A precious metals object such as a gold (dubloon) or silver (reale, peices of 8) coins, or precious metal bars, etc.
The kind of srtuff they haavily loaded their Galeons with, taking spoils back to the King/Queen/Church of Spain..
Like The "Garden Of Gold" laying In the ruins of the wreck Atocha, Mel Fischer & his team had finally discovered.
They also found gold/silver chains & ornate jewelry with Precious stones set in it too, & more.

Well I've held some of the treasures Mel Fisher recovered at his museum. Kinda cool from what I remember.
Got a bigger thrill digging my gold coins out of the dirt. (50BC, 1872)

Sounds like very nice Gold coins finds! I sincerely hope you get to experience an aura at least once.
I think you'd love it, & might even get hooked trying for them. Not that hard, but much patience &
lots of interval shooting. Maybe several thousands of frames to catch the split second metal-sun action.
Though just as it's unpredictable, it's also really surprising & like magic! Thank you sandy1 for exploring it.
