Below is Ruby, she is 23, she is a Vosmaeri Eclectus, Vosmaeri is the largest of the Eclectus family, they origally came from the south pacific, Australia, New Guinea area.... We have had her since she was 3 months old, we we got her she was still being fed with dropper, she was full feathered, but not weened.

Wow, I had no idea they were so long lived. They must feel like your children then, in a way. I’ve never had birds, I’m more a cattle dog type and travel too much. But they sure are beautiful creatures, I can see their allure. 👍
 
Why in the heck would I ever want to take 100,000 pictures or even need to do that? I have taken thousands of pictures over my lifetime, there were the occasional auras and flares, none were caused by a treasure.

Why dont you show a pictures of an aura and pictures of the recovered buried treasure you found from that picture, that would be easier.
I believe the suggestion is: "don't knock it until you've tried it".

Two things for the community to think about:

1. Major international mining and equipment conglomerates heavily utilize PGNAA (Prompt Gamma Neutron Activation Analysis). By bombarding rock with neutron radiation, the elements inside are forced to capture a neutron and instantly emit highly specific, high-energy gamma-ray "fingerprints". This secondary radiation passes cleanly back through the rock and is measured by surface sensors to calculate the exact grade of precious metals in real-time. The incoming and outgoing radiation is different, but an emission does occur.

2. Global mining giants like BHP and Rio Tinto have officially partnered with subatomic imaging pioneers like Ideon Technologies and Muon Vision (the links work). Borehole sensors are deployed deep underground to measure how cosmic ray muons interact with dense, heavy metal deposits. The deposits can then be mapped.

The idea of a treasure aura being an emitted particle or specific energy wavelength that interacts with the camera is not far fetched when you consider the above information.
 
The TW6 runs at 82kHz. It's good for tracing utilities, especially in active mode; I have one and have used it several times for this. But it is not as good in passive mode -- i.e., when used as a metal detector. It is a static-mode detector with no ground balance ability so this is especially true in more mineralized ground. However, coupled with a data logger and mapping software, it could be useful. But I expect for the kinds of things people on this forum are looking for, a high-power PI is a far better choice.

Yes, but that is not what aura photography is about. PGNAA requires quite the neutron transmitter and doesn't naturally go very deep because it is heavily attenuated by soil. Where I live, I believe PGNAA is being used to assess potential gold sites, but they have to use it in a borehole because of raw penetration limits.
