a little trick on those hard to read dates

Place coin on the scanner of your printer. be careful not to scratch the glass.
adjust the resolution to 1200 or greater and scan then you can blow it up in your
photo program. excuse the bright spot had my flash on..

I have a mineral scope w/camera that does a good job. I have to find the ac adapter to use the camera, though. When I bought it, it was 1400 dollars. Less expensive models today. Will only run the software (Motic 2) in XP so I had to put an XP virtual-drive on this pc to run it. Good pics! Tnx. TTC

Use one of those super hard grey coloured rubbers and it will expose the detail without doing any damage.
