It has been an incredible 2 weeks, but I have a feeling that my "un-skunk" streak is going to end somewhere in my 8 brinks boxes tomorrow tonight, so I thought I'd post a small recap of the recent hot streak.

Date of last skunk - 10/21/11
Current streak of non skunk half boxes - 43

564 coins found in 43 boxes since 10/21/11
Walking Liberty - 23
Franklin - 14
1964 - 57
1965 - 30
1966 - 35
1967 - 166
1968 - 155
1969 - 84

I don't use words like epic in my everyday conversations, but it seems like it would apply to this run. With the holidays fast approaching, I hope everyone's boxes are full of silver.

I don't think your streak will end. I'd be willing to bet you find atleast 1 keeper in each of those 8 boxes....anyway GL!

Pretty amazing! :icon_thumleft:

This is one crazy run you're on. Hopefully it'll continue into these Brinks boxes! :icon_thumleft:

That's one crazy streak you're on! :icon_thumleft: I'm moving to NY. ;D

thats a beautiful thing you have going, hopefully you can make it to 50 boxes no skunks!

Stunning.....simply stunning....

WTG Nick!!!!!!!! :notworthy:

Cards, I think your streak will live on, though a quick overlook on your number of keepers per box is declining, you still have a while to go.

Over 103.5 oz of pure silver for $282, awesome profit. With silver at $34.55, that's over $3,575. Of course, that's everybody's dream. Mine as well, but when you look at it in perspective, CardsNCoins is working his behind off to get these scores. I give a lot of credit to him.

CardsNCoins, may I ask, I know you edge search, but do you keep proofs? I know you can somewhat tell what a proof looks like due to the edge of the coin being thicker and shiny. Even when I edge check(then date check of course), I always pull out the questionable shiny edges.

I am hoping to assemble a proof set collection from circulation of halves, I have so far about 10 different dates and a couple doubles. Curious what you're averaging since you never post about proofs.

Keep on searchin!

I'm wondering the same thing for the same reasons - must know.

Hey-
Do you find any correlation between success and who delivers the coin?(brinks, strings, etc... ) ???

Amazing.
This is why we do what we do.

Hard work payin off!

I do check the overly shiny edges for proofs, but not enough to slow me down. I have about 22 different from 1969 to now.

that's a truly amazing silver streak you got going there Nick.

It's amazing to be able to find all that silver @ fv in the year 2011 - and in such a short amount of time too.

you already had impressive ytd totals before this latest silver streak - now your totals must be outstanding.
