A stroll in the park

Took the X-Terra 70 out to a local park. Took the 10.5 dd 7.5khz and the 6" dd 18.75khz coils. Ran the big coil on the wide open spaces and used the little one around trashy spots. I found quite a few coins but none over 3 inches deep. All clad.

The rock looking thing in the picture rang up at 44 on the screen. Not sure what it is yet. Look like it could be lead.

It looks to me like it might be a piece of
slag. Are there any foundrys or other
metal working places close by? Jimbob

I do not know of any metal working places nearby. I found that piece by the baseball diamond.
