Nice video, but please don't ever rub the dirt off a silver coin. It leaves a sheen and hairline scratches and devalues your find......I've seen some rare coins really messed up because somebody rubbed them. It's hard enough to retrieve a target without scratching. Again...fun video to watch. Happy New Year!

Depends on how hard you rub it. I've been doing this for awhile and trust me, I have a pretty good idea when and when not to rub a coin. Watch some of my other videos and you'll see how I treat the better coins.

Congrats on the silver finds! Shallow silver may mean a virgin spot, that, or it's never been hit with a Minelab. I love the ballfields. You may be suprised, I've hunted several that were supposed to be newer, ended up digging 1800's silver and IH's at greater depths. Thanks for posting a neat video!
